Last July 2nd, Barcelona Centre Financer Europeu for Sustainability (BCFE4S) participated in the mid-year progress meeting of UNDP FC4S with the other financial centers to review progress and develop future strategies.

Highlights of the meeting included the introduction of the new co-chairs; the presentation of new members; the global network’s progress on sustainable finance initiatives was reviewed in depth; the alignment of efforts with the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement was discussed with presentations from the Finance Centers, the UNDP Climate Promise and the intervention of BIOFIN – Biodiversity Finance Initiative; best practices and strategies were shared; and project updates were presented: Gender Finance Working Group, Assessment Programme 2023 and SDG Pipeline Builder.
